Pensacola Beach {Visiting my Family!}

Well, we FINALLY did it! We took the boys to the beach! They were seriously in heaven there. They loved that they could dig and dig and dig. And, then dig some more!

We had a great weekend visiting my family! We left Friday after Jason got off work, grabbed dinner, and headed on down. We got there pretty late, but my mom (Grandma) had cookies for the boys - specially made by her with M&Ms just for these guys. We let them stay up for a bit before making them get into bed. But, they didn't put up a fight this time because they knew where we were headed in the morning...the BEACH!!

{FRIDAY NIGHT}

 Thanks, Grandma! (And, thanks, Mom...I totally stole some of the pics from your Facebook! Glad you got some great ones!)

 {SATURDAY - BEACH DAY!}

 Headed to the beach taking one of my favorite roads passing by one of my favorite bridges! Graffiti Bridge!!! Love that bridge...

 Almost there... Best sign ever!

 Totally took a picture of the famous UFO house. That place is so cool. Sad to see that they didn't put any aliens in the windows this time like they had before...

 Jason, Andrew, Sean, and Christopher hanging out in the water :)

 Alex and Mommy taking a break from the sun with some fruit snacks

We managed to get a picture of us 4 1/2! Thanks for getting the pic of us, Mama!

 Building sand "volcanoes" with Sean

 Headed home after an awesome day at the beach, with a great meal at Flounder's (thanks, Mom and Dad!), and semi-worn out boys in the car! We did get to see some of our friends while we were at the beach, but darn it...we didn't take any pictures! :( UGH! We had fun seeing you, Sean and Andrea!! Jacob is SO CUTE!!!

Andrew and Alex went on a walk after dinner with Grandma, Grand-Daddy, and some of my brothers. I was too worn out to get moving again, but I was told about how super cool it was to have a drink from the water cooler on the golf course - LOL!

And, if you are on the golf course, you have to play the game one way or another!

{SUNDAY - HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SEAN!!!}

 Yep, while we were in town, we celebrated my brother, Sean's 14th - eek! - birthday ON his birthday! YAY!

 And, get a load of THAT cake. This was a Reece's Peanut Butter cake extravaganza!! Requested by the birthday boy himself and specially made by my mom. Wowza...it was SOOOOO good!

Hope you had a super birthday, Sean! We love you!!

 But, sadly, our trip was coming to an end. The van was packed, the boys were ready with their backpacks, and final pictures were taken. And, YES! Those are ALL of my YOUNGER brothers!
Top steps - Christopher (2nd oldest younger brother) and Sean
Bottom steps: William (youngest brother), me, and James (oldest younger brother)
Mr. Cool standing up is also known as Brendan (the middle younger brother)
Whew!

 And, the mama who had all of us and look like possibly a sister...hello! Love ya, Mom!

Well, you got your load of baby bump shots in this post - everyone happy!? That is me in the last days of the 2nd trimester.

We had a great time and miss everyone bunches!

Bits and Pieces from Last Week

NOTE: If you haven't heard the news yet... We found out if we are having a boy or a girl! Click here to see who we will be welcoming in the fall!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well, something bad happened to my laptop last week...
Oh, the agony... And, really, Geek Squad? Actually a throwing star would have worked better than these lame backup discs...
So, please bear with me and this blog as these posts are going to be a bit more here and there. In the meantime, please make sure you are following us via Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram to keep up with our madness! ;)
Check out my little architect!! Andrew built this during quiet time! Is that just the coolest?!
We headed to the zoo with Amanda and her little boy last week. And, I'm telling you. These animals were truly wild. The birds were going crazy, the monkeys were singing, the elephants were playing together, it really was wild! And check out that goat!! Cracks. Me. Up.
First, I know..I have GOT to get a better picture of our new ride.
Second - Hello, SPACE! How on EARTH we fit ALL of what you see into either my old Saturn or Jason's Accord...the world may never know. I LOVE OUR ODYSSEY!!
And, yes, the boys INSISTED on being in the VERY back of the van. At first, we were worried, but wow... I think that was the quietest drive to family in a LONG time. We have NO issues at all on our way there. They were as happy as anything. Except in this pic where Alex is beyond ready to get going. Haha!
Nana and Papa's house!! After a long ride and a good night's sleep, Andrew and Alex helped Nana make breakfast for everyone.
The boys had a fun trip to Costco with Papa.
And, ok...why are these carts ONLY at Costco?! Those things are AWESOME!
My birthday cup! I know...it's just a cup. But it is an INSULATED MASON JAR cup. Hello! Awesome.
Alex chillin' in the grass with Papa talking about golf and things.
Yep, he Andrew even gets his "railroad on" while on vacay. :)
On the road again... Poor Alex was sooo tired (from not taking a nap at all on Saturday) that he fell asleep with his little hand in his gold fish bag! Too cute.
Wow! I am actually up-to-date on posting pictures! Score!!
Up next: Our adventures with my brother-in-law, Justin. He is here this week loving the life of an uncle to two very silly boys. :)
Weekend Visit to Augusta
Two weekends ago, we made a quick visit to Augusta to see Jason's family. Here are some pictures from our time there :)
 Andy and Alex playing in Nana & Papa's new backyard. They loved how they could look down onto the golf course and cheer on the golfers playing. Though, I don't know how much the players enjoyed that LOL
 Heading into downtown Augusta to the Riverwalk
 Taking in the beauty of the Savannah River :)
 This was Andrew's highlight of the Riverwalk! He was so excited about the train bridge, then even more excited when he got to see a train go over it! He pointed out which ones were the freight cars and the tanker cars. Such a smart little guy!
 Pictures of "Augusta's Last Stern Wheeler"
 There was a great little playground overlooking the river.
 Alex and I walked up a bit further after he got tired. He was excited to see the train bridge so close up. I was hoping for another train, but no luck. It probably would have been pretty loud.
 Enjoying a drink by the river :)
 I got some of the BEST fried green tomatoes EVER! These two ladies had their booth set up with their own recipe that had a bit of kick to it. It was so good! And that lemonade? Whenever I am at one of these farmers markets, I always get a lemonade to find out which one might be the best. And this guy has to win. Fresh squeezed right in front of you AND he had a story to tell about it, too. How the recipe had been in his family for years and all. It was great :)
 Relaxing with Papa
 Playing cars
Looking for birds, watching joggers, etc. It was such a sweet little moment that I was able to capture.
A Weekend with My Family {Part 2}
Here are a few other pictures from our weekend in Pensacola that I wanted to share!
 Andrew watch the oldie cartoons :)
 Andrew and William playing peekaboo with each other through the fireplace
 Grandma and Alex - he is giggling because Bijoux just touched him with his nose!
Jason and I ready for the wedding!
It was a great weekend but went by too fast, as usual. We miss you all!!
A Weekend with My Family {part 1}
This past weekend, we headed down to Pensacola for a wedding and to visit my family. My brothers won't stop growing yet...Christopher and Brendan are towering over me. Sean just passed my height. And, William, I am sure, will be taller than me the next time we see them. It is crazy how time flies after you move away, huh?
Anyway, I headed down a few days early since we had nothing else going on here and I really wanted to hang out with my family. Jason had a few projects to finish at work so he came for the weekend. We had a great time! It rained and rained and RAINED! It was crazy how much it rained that weekend. I hadn't seen it do that since a hurricane. Tons of places got flooded pretty bad...
But even though the weather was crazy, we still got a pool and park day! There is a super cool playground close to where Jason and I went to high school - Benny Russell Park. The cool thing is that Jason was one of the volunteers that helped build this place. So, it is pretty awesome that Andrew and Alex got to play here.
Andrew, William,and Alex ready for the park!
Want to see something even cooler that my mom found while we were playing around??? Remember, Jason helped build this place and that was well before he met me. Check this out!!
Look at the 2 board from the left! It says "Andrew and Alex W." HA! Clearly this is not them, but SO?! How cool is that!
Anyhoo! After the lunch and the park, we came back home and jumped in the pool before the monsoon came.
Me with Alex, William, Sean, and Andrew :) Sean and William were such a huge help! They played with Andrew while Alex and I played along. Every now and then we would switch the little guys around. Andrew thought it was so cool that he was hanging out with the "big guys."
My parents amazing backyard! I love their pool! It is so great to not have to a community pool. Those are so gross!
Well, as usual, I have taken too many pictures. So stay around a bit the next ones are coming up!
