Tackling the To-Do List

GIVEAWAY GOING ON NOW THROUGH JUNE 30TH! CLICK HERE TO ENTER!!

I am getting some things done this weekend finally. They are little things that I could have taken care of, but between getting home from Tennessee and working Vacation Bible School this past week, it's been a bit crazy around here.

Remember how I wrote about making a to-do list board on Pinterest? Well, I have "scratched" some things off and have added some new items. Yay!

Friday, after the boys woke up from their naps, I had paint, paper, and baby wipes set out for them. We made Father's Day cards! Andrew loved it - Alex...not so much. But, we got them done and Jason LOVED them!!

Aren't they cute!? We used regular craft paint and made sure the baby wipe were handy. Black on their arm and gray on their hands to make the golf club. Yellow to make a golf ball. Well, white wasn't exactly going to show up on white paper, right? And - LOL - I was trying to hurry (as the garage door was coming up signaling Jason was home) and write the message...and messed up Alex's. It is supposed to say FORE not for. Ugh, oh well. He loved it and the little guys were so proud of their work. :)

While this was all going on, I  had mixed up some chocolate chip oatmeal cookie dough and made a cookie cake for Jason. I had a lot of dough left so I just made a batch for the freezer. This is the BEST RECIPE ever! They are perfectly moist and soooo yummy!

After dinner, we had movie night and watched the perfect Father's Day movie together - Finding Nemo! I love that movie. It soooo cute. And Dory speaking whale...um the best part! LOL

Once those 2 little ones were done with their movie and ready for bed, I headed back into the kitchen to attempt the 4-Ingredient Bread recipe I found on Pinterest. I admit, I really was not sure this was going to turn out well. But it is awesome. I just mixed up the ingredients and let it rise overnight. Baked it this morning! YUMMY!

Light and fluffy!

  1. Here you are with another great idea that you've put into action. I don't understand Pinterest. I visited your board and it's really cool. I signed up, for a Pinterest account, but I don't know what to do or how to do it. You should write a tutorial for all us Pinterest wannabes.

Glad you're back safely from your vacation!
