And, while you are busy in the kitchen forgetting what you went in there for...because you have prego brain...you start laughing at your insanity. But, making sure you don't laugh too hard (or cough or sneeze - EVER!)...cuz we all know what happens... Yep, instantly we have to find a restroom and quickly.Oh, but don't run there...it'll just make it all worse. Maybe you just shouldn't move for the remainder of this pregnancy. It may make things easier.
Oh, wait. That's right...you have a handful of appointments coming up! YIPPEE! And to start the fun...we have GLUCOSE TESTING! Whoo hoo!! Ok, my idea is that if you passed it last time, you are good to skip this one. I mean, come on, people. I like JUST had Andrew. Ok, fine. So, he is 16 months old. So? My "JUST" stands. They are going to be 18 months apart. Goodness. Do I really have to waste an hour of my life getting poked and prodded with needles and drinking a very sweet drink? LAME. But once that is over, you get to start going every. three. weeks. And, then at some point every two. Then every week. Then every 3-4 days until baby time. Oh. Happy. Day.
I really am excited about this. I'm sure you can tell. :) Really, though. I can't wait to meet Alex. I can't wait to see Andy and Alex together. I can't wait for our family to be completed! But, it's just that time, people. Time to get a move on. Time for the "get this baby out of me" stage. This time I have Andrew to help me through it. I hope these next 13 weeks go flying past us. Otherwise, 3rd Trimester, you and I are in for a rough ride.
